Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Hospitality

You will choose Hospitality if you enjoy working with people and providing a service.  If you are interested in a career in events organisation, restaurant or bar supervision or becoming a chef, this is a great course for you. On this course learners will have exposure to a wide range of hospitality topics that will enhance their progression to higher education in this sector, a complementary sector or ultimately lead to employment.

You will complete three mandatory units:

  1. The Hospitality Industry 
  2. Environment and Sustainability in the Hospitality Industry 
  3. Customer Service Provision in Hospitality

You will then select three optional units such as contemporary global cuisine, cultural foods and food safety.  This content of the course will involve exploring new recipes in the food room and demonstrating good hygiene and safety practices.

This qualification supports progression to job opportunities in the hospitality sector at a variety of levels. Jobs available in these areas include:
