Mrs Hirlam has worked at Abbey Grange since 2006 and has held a few different roles in the school, including coordinating the Aim Higher initiative that ran for 3 years, being a Pastoral Manager supporting two Abbeys and she is now Abbey Manager for Easby. Amongst the day to day pastoral duties, and other responsibilities undertaken by the Pastoral team, she is also the administrative organiser of the Year 8 France trip, supported by Mrs Clarke, the Assistant Principal and one of the five Designated Safeguarding Officers in school.
